We are looking for new partners to join our club.

The Enginaires Aero Club is one of the oldest flying clubs in the United states. For decades, we have been a part of the Champaign-area aviation community.

Our self-organized club currently maintains two Piper PA-28-181 Archer II airplanes that are hangared with Flightstar at University of Illinois Willard Airport (KCMI). Both aircraft are identically IFR equipped.

If you are:

  • a pilot without access to a plane as rental opportunities have dried up
  • wanting to learn how to fly in a friendly and cost-effective way
  • currently supporting "too much" airplane
  • in need of a cost-effective backup to your current plane
  • new to the CU area and looking for an aircraft club
  • employed in the aviation industry but without access to an aircraft

then Enginaires Areo Club may be the solution for you.

Membership is not limited to current pilots! If you've always wanted to learn how to fly, you can learn in club aircraft.

Enginaires Open House April 10, 2010

Come out to Willard airport for our open house on April 10th and meet the club and inspect the aircraft that we operate. Questions about the club and aviation in general will be answered and rides can be had.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm at the Flightstar Ramp. The entrance to Flightstar is the short building to the left of the control tower. Go through the lobby to the ramp and turn left and follow the signs.

If your schedule does not permit you to attend, but you are interested in information about Enginaires, please contact the club via email.
